1. Enable Developer Console
   • This can be done by opening your Gmod Options Menu > Advanced (at the bottom) > Enable Developer Console.
2. Use the ~ key to open console once enabled.
3. The command to bind a key is 'bind <key> <command>'
4. Some examples of what would work
   • bind B +drop - Uses the B key to drop a weapon
   • bind v 'ulx noclip' - Uses the V key to turn on noclip ***HINT: If the command is 2 words you will need to put quotes around it!***
   • bind 0 'say /advert This is a robbery' - Uses the 0 key to say 'This is a robbery' in advert if you are playing DarkRP.

1. Garry's Mod Chat Mod mod is a light-weight solution to creating a new chat box. It works internally within source engine so it doesn't look hacky and feel like it too. Chat.Resize(w,h) Sets the chat box to width w and height h. Chat.GetFilterButton Gets the filter button panel.
2. How to enter Enter these words into the chat box (on servers that support Chatsounds) by pressing y and typing them in.

You can also use the command from the ulx menu in the chat section. To bring up the menu type!menu in chat. Other than the menu you can simply use the command directly from chat by typing!p If you are caught ghosting through this form of communication, you will be dealt with accordingly. I dont know which button to press in gmod to voice chat and i have activated voice chat Showing 1-15 of 20 comments. Dec 2, 2015 @ 7:36pm. Anyone know how to use the older garrys mod voice chat Apparently there was a new update recently that improved voice chat quality. I heard there was a way to go back to using voice chat before the update.
